Inc. (ACT) provides island wide network consulting for Microsoft Windows
9x, NT,
and Win2k, WinXP.
Initial
Review
The fist step is to assess the fundamental system that will be required
to optimize your current business functions. Our review covers every
aspect of the network linking your business mission and purpose with
technology objectives. The typical analysis will include an examination
of: current systems, cabling assessment, applications and software. A
business evaluation is performed then the required system configuration is
analyzed. All applications current and proposed are inspected. A business
process is designed and a draft analysis is presented for approval. ACT
will then make recommendations integrating legacy systems with new
technology; local and remote connectivity considerations; server, hub and
workstation advice; client configurations etc.
Implementation
After the network structure is decided upon, ACT will complete all
installations in a timely manner. We can also provide training for
your employees either during or after normal working hours.
Maintenance
As technology changes approximately every 18 months maintaining an
efficient advanced network is of paramount importance. To avoid
obsolescence and remain competitive each network must be managed to
include state-of-the-art hardware, software and technology. ACT
can maintain the network so you won't have to. Most companies
usually place the office manager in the position of network administrator.
The duties required to maintain a network is a complete job within itself.
Installing network adapters, replacing display terminals and patch cables,
" . . .this software application worked yesterday now it
doesn't!", troubleshooting the network requestor that accesses the
server from the client, are all but small segments as they relate to
network maintenance. The skill-set necessary to provide adequate network
maintenance must be learned over time. ACT
already has the essential skills required in-house. Our experience in
